Since 1994, research and sponsored program expenditures at OU have more than doubled, and OU continues to set new records for funding externally sponsored research. OU ended FY 2007 with total expenditures of more than $250 million.

The mission of the Research
Cabinet is to guide strategic
actions that further strengthen
all dimensions of research
among the university’s three
campuses.

Working with the executive
officers from the Health Sciences
Center, Norman and Tulsa
campuses, the Research Cabinet
also coordinates and facilitates
research-related activities with local,
national and governmental agencies
and with many small and large businesses.
