  • Research Cabinet
    The Research Cabinet coordinates strategic research across all three University of Oklahoma campuses.
  • Vice Presidents for Research, Norman and Health Sciences Center campuses
    The Vice Presidents for Research lead research activities on the Norman, Tulsa and Health Sciences Center campuses. 
  • Office of Technology Development
    Responsible for the university’s technology related intellectual property, research and trade-related security, and technology-related entrepreneurial and economic development efforts.
    • Intellectual Property Management Office (IPMO)
      Stimulates the creation of intellectual property while managing the resulting assets in support of the mission of the University of Oklahoma.
    • Commerce Information and Venture Opportunities (CIVO)
      CIVO is the primary contact office for collaboration between faculty researchers and private industry partners. 
    • Export Controls
      Export Controls reviews all non-disclosure or confidentiality agreements, determining whether a Technical Control Plan (TCP) is needed to bridge the non-disclosure agreement and the public/private sector party. Visit Export Controls for further information.
    • Center for the Creation of Economic Wealth (CCEW)
      CCEW uses entrepreneurial processes to give students the opportunity to engage in real-world business enterprise, accelerate moving technology into the marketplace, and strengthen wealth development in Oklahoma and the nation.
  • Offices of Research Services, Research Administration and Outreach Sponsored Programs
    These administrative offices facilitate the contractual process for sponsored research agreements between faculty and external sponsors.
  • College of Continuing Education and University Outreach
    This service-oriented arm of the University offers training opportunities to public and private entities worldwide.

    This office shares information across the nation, highlighting the expertise and excellence of OU research.
  • Provost of the Norman Campus and the Provost of the Health Sciences Center
    These are the chief academic officers and leaders of faculty and programs located on the Norman, Tulsa and Health Sciences Center campuses.

  • Real Estate Operations Office
    This office coordinates all real estate and building space contractual relationships.
  • Link Office for the Norman Research Campus
    The office provides administrative and scheduling services for the Stephenson Research and Technology Center, One Partners Place, and Two Partners Place buildings on the south Research Campus located in Norman.
